The above counter is for all those who sacrificed their lives so that others can enjoy freedoms only a democracy can offer and not be ruled by a tyrant who seeks only torture and genocide of its citizens. The following link is a memorial to the fallen soldiers.

Collage of fallen soldiers used to portray the Commander-in-Chief, President Bush. I received this in an email and I am unsure of source and artist.

The United States needs to pressure the nearby countries to establish a government that is not ruled by people who put themselves in the position by force, birth right, and religious affiliation. This would be fair for all the innocent civilian lives that were taken as a result of the foreign military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.

People in Saudi Arabia, Iran, Syria, and Jordan should revolt on their own and place a government that will provide them rights similar to what we have in the U. S.

The U. S. should have went into Iraq with the intent to crush any insurgency. The U. S. should have had a clear agenda and a plan to exit after it dealt a quick and decisive victory over the insurgents. It seems that the U. S. had thought it was going to be over quick unless it is a calculated move to get some greenbacks in the deep pockets of the military infrastructure. Defense contractors and investors would not profit if military operations were designed to be overwhelming and decisive with a clear objective to exit.

I am not against the war. I have to convince myself that the U. S.  is involved with good intentions. One of my many cousins on my mom's side, Edith, is currently in Iraq. She was deployed at the end of the November 2005.

There are some Sipayik community members who have went and returned safely. Also, there are still some deployed in Iraq.

For those who have loved ones or relations in Iraq or Afghanistan, here are some sites that send care packages to the deployed troops.

Support the troops even if the politics doesn't seem to make sense.
